About Me

My name is Alex. I'm a software engineer and startup founder from Ukraine. I've been building products for most of my career — first as a developer, and later as a founder who loves turning ideas into working businesses.

I started out in tech companies, working as both a frontend and backend developer. I enjoyed solving technical problems, but over time I became more interested in the bigger picture — how products are created, how teams work, and how technology becomes a real business.

In 2015, together with a co-founder, I started my first startup — Tooltip.io. It helped product teams create in-app guides and onboarding flows without writing code. A year later, we joined AngelPad in New York, one of the top startup accelerators in the US. That experience taught me how to focus, move fast, and find real product–market fit.

After Tooltip.io, I continued building new products. Some of them, like Signalayer and Popupular.io, were later acquired. Along the way, I also worked with companies such as Notion, Mailchimp, and Drata, helping them build custom tools and improve their internal processes.

For me, writing code has always been a way to understand how things work — not only in software, but also in business and behavior. I like to build things, test them with real users, and see what creates real value.

Right now, my main focus is AI and how it can improve business operations. I'm exploring how automation, data analysis, and intelligent tools can make teams more productive and help founders move faster.

I'm still driven by the same motivation I had when I started — to build useful products, learn from real users, and turn ideas into something that actually works.
